- Above normal activity is expected for cyclone genesis, total landfalls over China and impact to South China
- Normal activity is expected for cyclones impacting China as a whole.
- Slightly below normal activity expected for cyclones impacting Eastern China.
- 26 – 28 Tropical Storms are forecast to form over the Western North Pacific Ocean and South China Sea
- 13 – 15 Tropical Cyclones are expected to significantly impact China
